Guinea’s president Alpha Conde on Wednesday accepted his party’s nomination to run for a controversial 3rd term as president, a move which had thrown the nation into conflict since 2019.

He denied the claim then insisting that it was to codify gender equality and introduce other social reforms, however, with what is at hand we now know who has been truthful all theses while.
President Alpha Conde now joins the president of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara in what look like a coordinated plan by these two president who had enjoyed the support of French government till date.
There has been condemnation of any sort from France against the actions of these men in their countries, while French authorities issued a statement claiming that they were concerned that there will be violence during elections in these nations, but there was no comment on the actions.
Not long ago French authorities threatened fire when late Burundi president, Pierre Nkurunziza did similar thing, not forgetting in. a hurry the cased of Joseph Kabila, leaving many to query; why the double standard?
