Another Twitter user summed up the event stating ‘Let it be known that on the 20th day of October in the year of 2020, that men of the Nigerian armed forces waited till dark, turned off the lights and opened fire on a crowd of peaceful & unarmed protesters. There is no way to spin it. This was a massacre’.
